Guess what's filming on my street this Friday? Yup. Snakes on a Plane. And you know that "talent sitting on motorcycle" means Samual L. Jackson. I mean, how can it not be? Snakes on a damn plane.
I've been hearing about this movie for some time, and had honestly thought it was in the can, but apparently stuff like this takes time to get just right.
People are talking about this movie. Comments on the internet stem from this:
I'm inspired by all of the Star Wars nerds that dress as a jedi for opening night, but I have a bit of a delima. I don't know what I am going to dress up as, a snake or a plane.
To this:
I daresay this will get Samuel L. Jackson every Oscar. They will revoke Oscars from previous winners and give them all to Samuel L. Jackson. Then they will award him honorary "President of the World" status. AFI will off him their bodies as sacrifices to the greatness of all snakes and all planes ever made.
And not forgetting this:
I was about to write an angry post about the negative stereotyping of snake, but now that I see this I won't have too. I'm glad this movie shows that there are both good snakes and bad snakes, and that humankind and snakes can live in harmony if they tried.
According to rumor, the movie was going to be retitled "Flight 121" but Samual Jackson insisted that they take back the original title. He's a wise man, he is.
