A scene in the movie "Starship Troopers" (one of my favorite political movies), features a cover version of David Bowie's "I Have Not Been to Oxford Town", but that track is not on the soundtrack. Turns out that the singer, ZoŽ Poledouris, has it available for download from her MySpace page. Now, my life is complete.

Farewell, Uncle Chuck

Sad news today as we hear the Charleton Heston died at the age of 85. I didn't agree with his politics and find many of his movies silly beyond silly, but there's no denying that the man was magic. Ride into the sunset, Uncle Chuck. Adios!
