Batman's Greatest Boner

<a href=http://paintedover.com/albums.php?action=view&albumid=507&s=uAQre1>The Joker is forcing Batman into a boner!</a> One of the many good reasons to love the internet, or we'd never get to see this. Comics can do anything, even boners! Also recommended is <a href=http://www.nationallampoon.com/s...

I agree that cross-hatching really helps in terms of art style. It doesn't seem like it's too much of an issue anymore... artists who want that "feel" to their comic go ahead with the cross-hatching, and those that don't usually end up digitally colouring anyway. However... I think it applies very w...

at first I thought the ending was abrupt, but I went back and read the whole thing from the beginning and realized it wasn't as long as I thought. so I changed my mind and I think the ending works pretty well. a really charming and well done comic. it's the kind of story where if Scott ever decides ...

I notice the background has gotten darker. a nice touch. which got me thinking... using background effects isn't considered much in webcomics. you put your Jpegs and Gifs on a page, get a tiled wallpaper that doesn't clash with the colors, and that's it. you can't do a whole lot with a background, b...

I remember Scott saying before in the blog, saying he'd rather live with modern medicine and antibiotics than in the romantic "old days" of knights and castles. could these panels be a reference to that?

this comic is so charming. the two of them "talking to themselves" simultaenously like that, it just made me laugh for some reason. this might be my favorite improv yet.

I don't know much about music at all. Sadly I never listened to any music at all (except my father's Classical music) until Napster came along, and even then I didn't know what to look for. BUT I'M DIFFERENT NOW. actually, even now I still don't know much about American music, new or old, but anyway...

I love this so far. I think anyone who liked the movie "Beautiful Mind" would enjoy reading "The Right Number" the last several panel transitions were just brilliantly done, and really use animation to work well in a comic. sadly, I agree that in most of the comic, the frame-zooming thing just seems...

I still wonder how it would go if the vote totals were kept secret until the end. so far, it seems 2 or 3 quickly rise to the top and everything else gets ignored because of the "buying votes" mentality. see some title you like, but it's 900 cents behind? why bother? I'd feel like it's more of a don...

I enjoy reading manga about sports but that's about it. KAME-HAME-HOMERUN-SWING-HA!

I like the funny font. and the cold atmosphere. in my opinion, it doesn't get cold enough around here.

I couldn't understand the movie. Barney spends every day playing outside, and not doing his job. yet somehow on Christmas day, everything is spick 'n' span, and Barney gets all the credit for his "hard work", which is never shown in the movie. is the moral here, "Don't do your job and eventually it ...

I think a comic titled "Bad Art Day" that is made up entirely of bad art would be... a bit too obvious. I can think of many possibilities on the title that would have nothing to do with drawing stick figures every panel.
