You can PM the artists you are interested in and they can reply if interested. I'm pretty sure most artists looking for paid work would browse most posts that pop up here to see if it is something they might be interested in. You can also reply in-topic - just drop a link in the reply or advise/requ...

Quick word from your friendly neighbourhood moderator:

Please don't post this in every thread in the forums - and especially don't post it multiple times in other peoples threads. Leave it in this post.

Thanks for your co-operation.

Yeah, took a while but he finally got back to me.

So, I can remove spam posts and topics, but can't block users or similar. I'm usually lurking around every day so I'll focus on spam mainly.

I've removed the images attached to this thread due to the explicit sexual content they contained.

That being said - Delajipa - could you please post something else to show your skills (as they are quite impressive!). Just not stuff that is sexually explicit.

Thanks

I've PM'd the mods and the site owner numerous times to try and get things sorted out here (spam-wise) but I have never received a response. That's pretty much the reason I started the other board.

It is a pity this site is dying in such a slow, painful way. It was good in its time.

Having worked with Jeff (sort of - the last three pages are from a script I wrote, but Jeff was hired by the editor to draw it), he gets the big thumbs up from me. Great artist who puts out great work.

Hopefully we will get to work together again some time!

Have a look here: http://www.comicbookscriptarchive.com/archive/the-scripts/ There are a bunch of samples scripts by different writers. My preference is the Comics Experience template, as I feel the layout is clean and tidy and easy to follow. Also, the Dark Horse submissions page has a preferred su...

Your topic only mentioned 'samples'. I replied, and if you read it, you would note that I mentioned I was replying 'solely as a writer.' If you intended this thread to be aimed solely at artists, perhaps you should change the title to reflect your actual intention. That way everyone will understand ...

Your poll topic is 'anyone ever actually SEND samples into Marvel or DC' not has anyone taken a portfolio to a comic con for review. Based on the question asked in the poll, you cannot submit (by sending) to Marvel or DC as they do not accept.

Really? Care to enlighten us and point out where they say they do accept unsolicited submissions?

http://marvel.com/help/category/17/topic/30
Seems pretty clear to me.

And the only submissions DC accept are for the Talent Workshop which is currently closed - hence no unsolicited submissions.
