What's a good program for handling webcomics?
I am starting up a webcomic. Are there good programs out there that assist one with the task? Such as one that you can load up a yet-to-be-released archive of strips and it automatically releasing one a day in the order you specify.

Seeking an evil artist
I am looking for an artist that is willing to be hated by the webcomic community for not only daring to have but aiming to have a financially successful webcomic. An artist that doesn't consider someone a fan of theirs if that "fan" thinks they should do their webcomic only for the love of drawing a...

The concept has changed a "bit". Moving from conventions to museums. Here's where the change was posted at Comixpedia: http://comixpedia.com/international_webcomic_showcase_tour I have also asked that if one wants to continue to discuss the convention version of the idea, that they do so in this for...

Re: Is there a place for a marketer in webcomics?
Also, where would be another good forum to post this idea? I think the Talk About Comics forum would have some room for this kind of discussion. Thanks for the link, Greg. However, looking over their endless sub-forums, am I correct that the most appropriate one for my post would be the "Etc." foru...

Is there a place for a marketer in webcomics?
I'm a marketer by trade. Scroll down to "Scott Jensen" at this link for who I am: http://www.fariel.com/About/ I like the idea of webcomics free on the net and am a daily reader of several. What I would like to do is use my marketing talents to push a select number of high quality free webcomics to ...

And the future is revealed
Well, since this forum is "A place to promote yourself, your comic or your website. Or all of the above." I'll promote myself and my website. Not a webcomic but possibly just as fictional. *laugh* I'm taking a shot at being a futurist. My website is full of my future predictions. www.FireballTrends....

I think it is just a phase. It will pass as with all other styles. The art isn't set in stone. It evolves. It changes. Now where it is evolving to would be an interesting discussion. Is there anything in the manga style that might continue forward? And to answer that question, I think we would need ...

The money I'll be making from either of the jobs enables me to pamper myself in this regard. Instead of making my schedule match such an art studio and the commuting time that would eat up, I'd rather pay more to have it fit my schedule and save me commute time. Thanks for the suggestion of C...

Seeking advice on how to select a good art tutor
Currently, I have two companies wanting to hire me. One is in Dallas and the other in New York City. No, it isn't as a cartoonist or anything along those lines. It is as a marketer/top management. But when I make the move (I'm in Madison, WI right now), I thought about how I would like to set up my ...

I've been using Wacom since 1997. My Cintiq just arrived on Friday, and I have to say this thing is incredible. So far I've only used it for a few drawing things, but its amazingly more comfortable than any of the other tablets I've used. It stands upright but also can slide to be flat. It also can...

Any good drawing tables and chairs for bad backs?
I would appreciate suggestions for drawing tables and their chairs that are the best for the back. Due to two separate car accidents (neither my fault) that injuried the exact same part of my lower back, I need something better to draw with. I've been drawing on dining tables, beds, desks, and so fo...

Well, it's been ten months since I posted this. I'm just wondering if any new competitor has come onto the market. Possibly a set-up like a drafting table? :D The Wacom Cintiq is the only draw-on-the-screen one I've heard about. Scott McCloud swears by it. Costs about $3000, though. It's possible t...
