I was just looking at serializer.net. It reads like a who's who of comic artist heroes of mine... Carrie Golus, Jason Turner, Derek Kirk, Tom Hart, Drew Weing... Waiting for the 14th...

basement

If you type the address in manually, it comes up. I don't think yahoo likes outside links... Mine is up at http://www.contretemps.net . I accidentally made it about twice the size I had intended, but if you view it full screen, and you are viewing 1024X762 or larger, you can still see the whole thin...

Hey, I did another one of these.

Last night I had a slow bit at work, so I cranked out one of these. I won't be able to put it up until Monday, but I've only spent about 50 minutes on it so far, so I have 10 left...

Ack. You're not kidding. That discussion reminds me of all those art discussions I used to have in college. And sometimes still have, but typically these days I manage to avoid breaking furniture and calling my friends nazis...

My plan

Well, my concern is that if I just do it a bit at a time I'll get pretty far in, and suddenly I'll wish I had included something back at the beginning, or the story will start to suck, and I'll have to go back and do major editing, and throw out page after page of perfectly acceptable drawing becaus...

writing scripts for webcomics?

OK, I'm going to do a long form non-improvisational comic, and I intend to put it up on the web. My question for the author/artists among you is this: how much scripting do you do beforehand? Do you have the whole thing written out, complete with panel descriptions and layout notes before you ever d...

Hey, anyone mind if I link to your comics? I'm planning on redesigning my website in anticipation of project I am working on, and I thought I would put up a section for one-hour (aka lunch hour...) comics...

Also, I just finished another one: www.contretemps.net

24 panels. Hey! you're showing me up :) Cool comic though. I like the larger panel size. I was afraid I wouldn't finish in time if I went with big panels.

Um. "Lunch hour comic" works for me.

I'd go with Macbeth. He's from scotland, and he's got more experience. I don't think that Hamlet's indecision would be that much of a handicap in a straight up fight, though.

A One-hour comic.

Short attention-span 24 hour comics. A complete story, one hour, 20 panels. It isn't as exhausting as a 24 hour comic, but it's at least as frantic.

Assuming that it's my comic you are talking about: thanks! Wikkit: I recommend having plenty of food and water/beverage of choice stocked up beforehand, because once you start you don't want to have to stop to go out... I doubt I would have been able to do mine if I hadn't been part of a group of pe...

Hi, I'm new here. Hopefully nobody minds me just jumping right in and posting :) (and hyping, I guess.) Anyway, I did one a few months ago with a few friends. (results can be found on my www.contretemps.net site.) It was a lot of fun. I highly recommend it for people who (like myself) have only done...
