Re: Young Zaphod Plays It Safe
I was always confused by the ending of "Young Zaphod Plays It Safe" until I read the version in Wizards of Odd, a short story collection published a few years back. It contains a couple of sentences that weren't in earlier versions, explicitly stating who the mysterious cargo was. Looking back at t...

Wait... 'Young Zaphod Plays it Safe' is supposed to be ambiguous? All this time I thought I just wasn't getting it. I don't know if he wanted ambiguity, but he got it. He said that he had someone specific in mind, but I personally like the theory that it is someone else. Who do you think it was? Ben

I think that the ambiguity was better than the new ending. Seeing what other people thought the ending meant was as fun as the comic itself, a sort of 'Young Zaphod Plays it Safe' situation. I also had an interpretation different than the one that it now shows, so there's some dissapointment in bein...

http://www.angelfire.com/comics/hotd/ I just wanted to bump this, to have people look at it. Be engrossed by the muskrat. The non-comic drawings are especially spectacular, like the spectacular procrastination (at the bottom) and other interesting humanoid animals. [edit: angelfire wouldn't let me ...

Re: The Parallelogram's Revenge
Oh ... I think I am getting it now. In the fifth panel the parallelogram says he/she/it wants to send infinity together (nice), and he/she/it wants to "bump" a bit, then the next one I'm a bit confused. Are the brown circles kids? Then the parallelogram says he/she/it wants to die together. Right? ...

The Parallelogram's Revenge
Where does the revenge come in?
I think it's more like "The Circle's Disdain", or "Dismissal All Around"...
"The Pointy is Horny"...
"Feasible Configurations of Barycentric Coordinates Get Shot Down by Pagans"...

The Future of Micropayments
I decided that I may want to pick up a micropayment domain. I think micropayments will eventually be common for content sites (webcomics, journalism, how-to, and undoubtedly porn) that don't want to run on the advertising model, especially if the web advertising market collapses any further. Of cour...

Educational web comics
I'm launching a website detatiling a variety of pulse jet engines. Along with theory, history, designs, etc., I'm planning to have a few how-to type articles. Right now I'm planning on doing the "how-to"s in regular old text with a few graphics, but I'm contemplating making comics instead. They woul...
