I'm really enjoying your current everyday comic: Substance and Opinion ( http://www.radicalartistfoundation.de/zero.htm ). I like the control you give the reader and the comic is very visually interesting. Everbody who hasn't should check this out.

I rather enjoyed that comic. Tim me too, the punchline at the end of the comic really sold it for me. One thing I've noticed about 24 Hour comics is it is very hard for artists to resist including the panel or page describing their disappointment in the comic they have just produced. Tim Yeah I've ...

Actually just to clarify those journals are mine. I definately agree with some of your criticisms of photo comic/art. My Photo Journal Comic is a part of a larger ongoing project called My (Blank) Journal Comic . The first fill in the blank was Winter Break (which was drawn using pencil and ink)and ...

first off 24 min comics=great, good, fun idea but... I don't have time  David, I have to say, I liked your comic but it was a little difficult to read. Maybe you can write a little more clearly next time. Also, don't forget that thin lines, like the kind used when you write letters, can be dif...

Re: Artsy works vs. Straight-ahead storytelling

Okay first off a small side note for scott: The entry for today's blog says "03/03" Okay now to get into this bear of a topic My question is: Why do we, as a culture, clearly need more straight-ahead storytelling? I didn't think there was a lack of this. Maybe my question arises out of the use of th...

Dizney furthers at least two of the 12 revolution

An artist named Brett Cook-Dizney gave a talk and has been doing a project at my university. Much of his art could definately be classified as comics (although often the sequence of the panels are arguably unimportant). I think at the least Dizney has furthered 2 of McCloud's 12 revolutions from Rei...
