As a slow writer with a sore wrist battling deadlines, I'm not going to make a very robust debating partner, Rip. Sorry about that. If anyone else wants to get into a point-by-point on these though, let's definitely keep it civil, okay? I think it's cool of Rip to stick around after this. I'd like t...

For the record, I don't think Bush "stole" the election any more than Gore would have if roles had been reversed. It was just a freakishly close contest in which lawyers and judges and family connections won the coin flip. To Rip: Thank you for staying and enduring this little detour. Many people wh...

It's back up. Must have just been a tempoary glitch at Boiling Point. Jonah's pretty good about getting such things fixed quickly when they happen (which is rarely).

I must sheepishly admit that even I don't know if Billy's assessment is correct.

In truth, I was just casting about for a small-talky way to identify their respective occupations.

Okay, I can get carried away, it's true. I guess I refer to the MJT as LA's "One True Cultural Landmark" in the same sense as The Clash was known as "The Only Band that Matters." Or the way the way Bill Mudron exclaimed "Princess Mononoke can kiss my ass!" after seeing Grave of the Fireflies. Let's ...

While it's not quite as democratic as that, I have considered, at some future date, having a round where ten of my *favorite* rejected titles were given a second chance. There have been some where I had a good idea for how I might handle them but they were passed over.

Wouldn't be for a while though.

Y'know, Greg. It might be kind of confusing with the topic heading.

Maybe we should change the thread title to Favorite *Recent* Improvs. (you don't really need "Proto" in there -- nobody, but NOBODY liked that one).

Congratulations to all of you who called the ending! I realized about 2/3 of the way through that if Susan calls herself a "No One" at the end, she could legitimately notice the Walrus at the end and reward my long-suffering readers for their patience. Originally, I'd intended to offer no hope whats...

Oh, I have no doubt I could have lived up to "Bad Art Day." As for "Dentist..." Hmmm... Good thing I'm taking the weekend off! In answer to DS's question, sales of The Right Number are currently at 1,941 and growing. Between that and the penny votes, I've made a bit over $500. It's a decent s...

DecafSilicon asks: Scott, is this the first time you've changed a comic due to forum input, other than correcting errors? Naah. There've been other times. Plus, of course, in that butterfly-sneezing, chaos theory kinda way, I suppose that anything I read is bound to change the course of Improv hist...

I, uh... don't really know myself, but he needed to be accounted for, due to this panel:

Got it! Good job.

CGW, as some of you might know, has hosted a one page comic by me in most issues over the last 2 years. I'll be wrapping it up with a 4 pager in a few months.

Scott, you have not listened to enough Dave Matthews Band. I know Stephanie made you that CD, but there's a lot of other incredibly swifty stuph that Dave has done that is not mainstream. And you gotta love Boyd Tinsley on the electric violin. I demand it. Feeeeed me, Seymour. In fact, if you give ...

I wholeheartedly agree, and I suspect it's the pace of *updates* that's the primary cause of it. "Walrus" is a slow strip by its nature, but I'm guessing it wouldn't be as torturous if you were getting 2 or 3 panels per day as you ordinarily would be. I'm afraid that this cluster of trips I've been ...
