hm.... i just checked it out with my newly-acquired DSL connection, and didn't feel that the interface was "too" horrible... it seems like a nice idea, even though i will agree that such an interface is a) a little too much wasted "clicking" time, and b) very unpractical for anyone with a connection...

oh, and i forgot to mention that due to your "calling my bluff" on my top ten page , greg, i completely felt pressured to revamp the page to allow me to update with ease, so that i can keep it current and such... you can go check it now, if you want, as i've already put it up a day or two early for ...

Update on sites that review comics: While I was catching up on my comics today, i discovered that Tailsteak, who has posted here once or twice, and who is responsible for the genius metacomic One over Zero , has created a pretty elaborate links page which actually offers a nice detailed summary of e...

To make people laugh. To make people think. To make people smile. And when I say people, i nclude myself there, too. And Tailsteak, I disagree with you -- your comic is VERY much NOT limited by time or such... i tihnk that people twenty years from now will laugh and enjoy and learn and think and smi...

well, in terms of what spurred me to draw strips, my three biggest influences are Garry Trudeau ( Doonesbury ), Berke Breathed ( Bloom County, Outland ), and Bill Amend ( FoxTrot ). All three are notorious for stuffing their strips with a bajillion tiny details and easter eggs, hence why seem to hav...

lol, i LOVE it!

and i would arugue that it IS a comic, by rule of infinite canvass-related scrolling...

Of course, if someone had a 10 foot monitor, and could see the whole thing without scrolling, then it would become a cartoon.

Yay for audience participation!!!

the HOOK.

it's all about the HOOK.

sometimes it's art, sometimes it's writing, sometimes it's a certain little something that's a hybrid of both.

but it's that TWIST that makes it DIFFERENT from others that i remember. i guess i just LIKE things that seem new and different
