hey germick,
nice stuff you have on your site. i didn't have time yet to read it all, but i really like "my boyfriend is a freak!". great idea, very post-modern i'd say. and the way it is realised really fits the concept of the story. keep going,

possibility 1) what format did you use to save the steps in between? depending on the program (and i never used p2web) if you save earlier steps in PNG already you loose colour quality while reducing the size of the picture. best would be to use tiff until the final step, where you make it web ready...

on an issue you didn't ask about. i have the impression you reduced the colour quality too much. i am running a quiet good resolution on my LCD and the sword or the boys arm in the first panel still appear edgy. my photoshop insists, that it is reduced to 256 grey scales. but checking the colour tab...

for a european pages per dollar seem to be a strange calcualtion. of course, sometimes this comes into the game. and of course the quality of print and binding influences the price. but here in europe i might get 30 to 50 pages for 20 USD and actually, i'm happy as long as i like the story. ok, of c...

hmm
that is interesting. i got the IP on http://www.hcidata.co.uk/host2ip.htm and i can not access the IP i published either. therefor it would be good to have the real IP, so i could check if my ISP did not update a change of the IP in the proxy system. so if anyone would find the correct IP i'd be ver...

problem with my isp is, it is too big. even when their whole system is completely down they ask you at the phone things like: did you plug your modem into the electricity... yeah great! there is no way to call them about one address. that is the problem. except i'd know that i am for sure the only p...

I know Mac's the platform of choice for graphics-folk, but... well, let Kurtz say it. (Looks like he's making slow but definite progress towards his goal. ;) haha, he could actually make the bar alot larger now. he should add a g5 tower with 2 30 inch cinema displays. and right, he can take the 17 ...

Hey there, thanks for posting! The people who hang around this forum have read a lot of webcomics with a lot of different interfaces, so we're bound to have opinions. Some more opinionated than others. true, so don't get discouraged. people here talk about comic engines all the time and every engin...

Re: Everyone worry for Scott...
There are three possibilities: Scott has hit his head somehow and gotten a concussion, Scott has been abducted and an imposter has replaced him, or Scott no longer has any regard for us, his fans, and doesn't mind if our time is consumed looking at complete GARBAGE like Caution Man. What the @(&^...

ok...
let's have a look on this one. what is religion? and what is the antithesis of organised religion? if you answer disorganised religion and not atheism, you assume atheism is not a religion. is that correct? the term religion does not say how many gods a specific religion must have to be a religion. ...

That's too bad. I was hoping all of those print guys would go down with the ship. Not that I dislike Byrne or any of the others working in print, it's just that once they all make the jump, the comic store sheep will follow them to read their thinly veiled take on Superman. Simply put, I fear they ...

Re: Layout Wisdom?
There are books on scriptwriting, character design, penciling, inking, coloring, and lettering. But what about layout? I'm reading a lot of different comics to get a sense. i'm asking this question for a friend of mine who is an egyptian comic artist. here it is difficult to get books and if you or...
