Oh, and speaking of "credit where it's due," let's remember that this entire crazy exercise got kicked off by Eric Myers with his <a href="http://www.zwol.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=11149#11149">"Understanding Root Beer" image</a> way back at the beginning of this thread. I know it's there for all t...

You can say what ever you want on the radio, saying it a second time, now that's a trick.Michael_Harker wrote:They can say "penis" on the radio?
Besides, I don't think penis is one of the big seven words you aren't allowed to broadcast.

That doesn't make sense at all. If that was the case, MAD magazine would be in litigation's for the next 100 years. One court ruling doesn't make a law, it just interprets it. Some other judge down the road could interpret the law it differently and overturn it down the road. But to be on the safe s...

I'm not sure I believe this is a book anyone would actually want to buy, since it's all art from a single thread at this forum. (I assume and hope that the art would not be removed from zwol.org in an effort to sell the hypothetical book!) That's why we would need more art. And maybe some stuff fro...

I'll second that motion! Anything that could make them some more bucks is a good idea in my book. Any thoughts on how this could actually get done? First, the owners of the art would have to give their permission to be included. You would need high resolution files of all of the images. We would ne...

Thanks, guys. Blu looks almost exactly like Eric Wilmoth (the one with the H2O). Yeah, a little. I think it's the hair, but Blu now wears in in a faux hawk. And he no longer has the blue corduroy jacket, that was the center of most of the panels. One thing about illustrating somebody else's journal ...

Illustrating someone else's journal.
I had some down time last month so I started practicing some skill that I felt lacking in. I didn't want to start another story that I wouldn't finish, so went looking through some online journals and blogs of people I know. Blu Sander is a talented musician from Texas that I've known for a little w...

Oh, I do like that the typo count was reduced in these new strips. :) David thought that he should use his pigeon's to spell check each script. That was before I convinced him that my new squirrel technology was much better. They use more nuts but at least they don't poop all over his expensive mar...

I would say that Religion is an escape route for the people in this world who dont want to believe that there are consequences for their actions. No matter what they do in this life they can just ask their God for forgiveness and they are let off. Atheist know that they have consequences for their a...

I always thought Lord Byron was the first to come up with the 24-hour-write-fest. On some stormy night in 1816 he challenged a group a friends to write their own ghost stories. Mary Shelly came up with Frankenstein. I don't think there where any rules to this contest (and it was a couple of years be...

No, David, you rock. I'm very grateful that you and Greg have let me illustrate your story. I've alway considered Zwol to be one of the best comics I've ever read, in print or on the Internet. And I'm excited to be a part of it now. To everyone else, I hope that you're enjoying these new strips and ...
