Short Comics at TwentySevenLetters.com

Post by Alexander D. »

Just realized I never hyped my new site 'round these parts. It's been a while since I was a regular here; I should probably come by more often. Anyway, my new site is www.TwentySevenLetters.com. It includes my comics/theatre blog, along with my comics work. Here are some highlights:

The Discovery of Spoons (illustrated by John Barber)
A story of creative desperation amidst the tedium of the corporate workday. A ten-page short with Flash-based artwork by the enormously talented John Barber.

The Widow Reminisces Over a Plate of Vegetables
(illustrated by Stephanie Brown)
A story of love and sacrifice. A six-page short with lush grayscale artwork by Stephanie Brown.

Amy vs. Li'l Mell (illustrated by Bill Duncan)
Yes, it's Shaenon Garrity's Li'l Mell! This is a silly little comic paying homage to one of our favorite creators and one of her most memorable characters. A two-page short with vibrant full-color artwork by Bill Duncan (who also illustrates my MT series, Picture Story Theatre).

Mug (illustrated by David Ano)
A story of tedium and trivial escapes. An eight-page short with artwork by Zwol regular, David Ano.
