I think this sort of thinking is very common, actually, but it's definitely to your credit that you can see that there's a problem with thinking this way. It's interesting that you should bring this up actually -- I was doing some reading on domestic violence against men just a couple of weeks ago, and was thinking of doing a comic on the topic. For anyone who's interested, I'm going to post a couple of links to articles I read.
