How would you feel about collaborating with a writer to develop a pitch for Image? It would require five pages, and there'll be no pay unless we get picked up.

I appreciate the offer, but sorry, I will have to pass. It takes a lot of work of designing, laying-out, coloring, researching for an open-ended investment like that. I'm working on a couple of paying sequential commissions at the moment, so I don't much have time for free work.

Sorry to sound harsh, but that's the reality of it.
