Looking for line-artists, animators and letterer

Post by FaultyMirror »

CLOSED FOR ALL INCLUDING BOTS :)

Kolanut Productions is looking for:
  • - Two comic line-artists (penciling+inking)
    - A pair of animators who have worked together before
    - A comic letterer

Aside from expecting our prospective candidates to possess a fluent grasp of English, we need only from them a link to relevant work. Please make sure an email address is available somewhere on your portfolio (this site is iffy). You will then be contacted via email for future discussion.

Because of the large amount of anticipated applications and the outsourcing of the hiring process to a more specialised branch of the company, any portfolio links submitted by other means than the comment section below (via the website for example) will go ignored.

Competence in your respective field, strong communication skills and a sensitivity to deadlines are a must.

Payments will be made at mid point and end point via Paypal.

A contract will be provided.

Line-artists:
We are looking for artists in the $70-90 range that can produce sequential pages in this style.

Kolanut Productions remains open to paying more for the right applicant.

Animator duos:

We need one animator for the line work and characters and one for the colouring and backgrounds. Strong preference will be given to candidates in the same timezone (or even the same city).

You must have worked together before.

Letterers:
We are looking for a letterer in the $10-$15 range.
A familiarity with the manga-style of lettering is a plus.

All chosen applicants should expect the on-boarding process to take a week since Kolanut Productions is focused on the long term and holds strong aspirations of deploying projects on a variety of platforms such as comics, webcomics, animation and more. The upside of this being the likely prospect of future employment.

Thank you for your time and good luck!
