HIRING REALISTIC COVER ARTIST

Hello Cover Artists,

I am writing this in the capacity of the guy who has written and is producing (i.e. paying out of pocket) for a comic book to be made, as I am trying to legitimately get into doing this professionally. As a graphic artist myself I know that art is subjective. I also hold cover art to a higher standard than interior art. Realism is a huge plus. To give you an example of a comic book cover artist who impresses me: "https://www.artstation.com/subversivegirl". Of course, Bob Ross is also in that wowing category.

The comic that this is for has Zorro as the main character. It is extremely dark and violent - think of Zorro being written with a tone like Batman/Dark Knight + The Punisher. People die in it. Particularly, this is an anti-child trafficking issue. He hunts bad people down, slashes them up, maims, and kills them. Well, it seems that I can’t figure out how to delete this thread. Nevertheless, I supposedly have a cover artist. Time will only tell how this unfolds. Thanks to everyone who inquired & chatted with me about all of this.
