Comic Book or Graphic Novel Artist Needed. - No Exp. Require

This is a temporary Not-For-Profit Project. People all over the world will turn in their stories that directly or indirectly deal with at least one earth-friendly moments. Then we will have over 100 Artists, Writers, Actors, Filmmakers and General help from all over the world turn the short stories into a film that will be celebrated at a free of charge screening on our website and in a Portland, Oregon area theater promoting Environmental Awareness.

The People we need: Over 100 Artists, Writers, Screenplay writers, Actors, Photographers, Filmmakers and General help from all over the world needed to create short films and graphic novels about their lives between now and May 2011. You can live anywhere in the world and participate from your home if you like.

The Reward: This a not-for-profit project so there is no pay. What we can offer you is a volunteer experience with hours that you choose, an amazing networking experience with others artists of every type, an excellent letter of reference, an awards reception in early May 2011 to reward you and recognize you publicly for all your volunteer work and a very large amount of other perks. Those who volunteer at least 20 hours over the course of the project will have their name in the credits of the film. Those who volunteer a specific number of hours will receive "Associate Producer" Film Credits in the Film. We will submit this film to dozens of film festivals around the world.

Experience Required: No experience required. Simply have a willingness to work with others and no bias against anyone. People of all races and backgrounds are very welcome.

The schedule: The work will start immediately and end in early May 2011. You can work as little as one hour per week or work as much as you like. You can work at your home or work with the rest of the volunteers at a designated location.

What we request: If you live in Portland, Oregon, some of the work (except the screenwriting portion) will be done with others if you choose to work with the other volunteers.


What we require: Signed and notarized volunteer agreements turned in before you start.

You also have the option of receiving a story and taking it home with you so that you can work on it in private.

Simply send us a 300 word description of your skills and why you like to use your skills (such as drawing, dancing, acting, writing, film making, graphic design, desktop publishing, brochure creation, Indesign software designs, Photoshop designs, final cut software editing, final draft screenwriting, translation help, fluent in foreign languages, general help, etc). You do not need to send us a description of you because we welcome people of all backgrounds, ages, races, genders, ethnicities and educational levels.

If you have your own studio, or your own tools such as computer software (specifically Photoshop, Indesign, Final Draft, Final Cut Studio, Final Cut Express 4, Laptop, 3 chip HD video camera, professional digital camera, Green screen, Tripod etc.,) please describe those tools in a separate paragraph please. You are not required to own any of those tools related to your skills but if you have them we'd like to know.
