Ok Greg.

I've heard it pronounced "Z-WOL" (Kinda like AWOL).

I'm inclined to pronounce it as a word "zwoul".

What is proper?

Probably like your second example, if I read it correctly. Think of the word "wall" and put a "z" in front of it. That's how I've always said it.

You know, I had asked the same question that Tim did when I saw Greg's blog entry. I didn't post the question because I thought I'd look dumb. [insert smarmy comeback here]

OK, so it's one syllable, not two. Now I can finally sleep at night.

BTW, I still don't know exactly what the word Zwol means. You got an answer for that, smart guy? :wink:
