Webcomic search engine.

Post by Eric F Myers »

Ryan North of Dinosaur Comics fame has created a new search engine for webcomics. You have to add a bit of Java code to your comic's pages to be included and then you have to transcribe each comic. I'm not sure how this will work with silent comics and the more experimental comics but I think it's a step forward. Definitely something comics need in order to be found by casual surfers.

One of the makers, T Campbell, has blogged a good piece about his reasons for making it and why he think's it's important. It's worth reading.
