EDIT FOR CLARIFICATION: This poll is for anyone interested in doing Arena in Season 4, not just those who have been on Ember's team during Season 3. Thanks.

************
This is a poll to assess who might be interested in participating in Season 4 Arena matches, and with what goals in mind. The poll itself is only somewhat useful; please post in this thread with more details about what poll answer you chose and what sort of team you would like to be on, or if you are leaving Arena play, why.

Thanks.

I do not see myself participating in s4 with Rojaal. I would like to try it out once I level my Healadin, but he isn't likely to be ready until the expansion (Yes I am a slacker).

As it stands now, our team is no match for the truly competitive teams, and in order for us to make a viable points team, our team makeup would have to be restructured. Experience has shown (me) that Roj is the weakest link (our healer, when we have one, usually outlives me). I love to PvP, but I have little incentive to do so with the new changes. I wish you guys luck if you choose to carry on the team, but Roj will be moving to sporadic raiding ('cause something always seems to come up when I sign up for a raid) when s4 starts. (I like parentheses)

Casual. I want easy points.
We may not have the personnel to drastically alter team makeup and be competitive, but I feel we can at least get some points.
I'm relatively new to arena pvp, and to the team. I have a slightly selfish reason to want to keep going since there are plenty of gear upgrades I could get that most of Culturally Deprived already has.
For some reason I have no interest in levelling an alt. Thus I'll mostly be PvP'ing to mix it up from raiding. I don't mind switching to 2s or 3s if we can't field a large enough team.
Roj, I dunno what all this weakest link talk is. I can think of several times when I stunk it up like no other. A non-MS warrior is plenty dead weight in arena, only good for breaking Ember's saps right off the bat.
I'll at the very least be respeccing for arena, plus whatever changes we figure out we'll need to make if we want to keep going.

I'm good with either casual or hardcore. If it stays casual, SS will probably drop, and I'd bring in Zar with Fire as SS really doesn't need anything from S3 gear anymore and S4 would be out of reach.

If we do try Hardcore (bow chicha wow wow) we should probably be fairly diciplined with running matches as well as being diciplined in matches. Meaning if we are loosing to a number of teams or keep getting punked by the same team we should quit right there, even if it means no points that week. If this is happening it probably means there are a small number of competing teams who are mostly better than us and trying to win will be futile and kill our rating. Conversely if we are winning, the team pool is probably filled with sucky teams and we should run as many matches as we can handle so we can boost our rating, even if this means playing until it gets rather late.

As it stands, Krath probably has enough arena points to get s3 hat and pants and s4 gloves. That's all I really want for him from the arena system.

When I get them up there, I'd like to do arena with Asu and Epoch and maybe even do some hardcore-ish arena-ing. Paladins and Shamans have a better time of it then Hunters anyways.

So with that, and my lack of a reliable computer at the moment, I'd like to take a break from arena. That said, I'm still glad to help out if people need another to field a team.

I know we'd decided on a short break as S4 began. But I can't wait! If anyone wants to do some 2s hit me up in game or via pm. This will be mostly for points (although I don't mind a hardcore approach either) and will eventually take a backseat to 5s or whatever we agree on.

Id like S4 shoulders, but I dont see that as a reality at this time, Id like to do some arenas with Khamari, casual or many I dont really mind, But its nice to just get some points and get some nice gear, and as always have fun doing it.

I'll keep you posted if/when we get a team going again, but I can pretty much guarantee you that you won't get any Arena shoulders from being on this team.
