Just finished a major upgrade and retooling of E-merl.com. Gaze upon it's wonderfulness at:

http://e-merl.com/

Also just finished a new infinite canvas piece called Weirdness Pending. Soak in it's hugeness at:

http://e-merl.com/wpend.htm

Did I mention I'm actually going to have some of my artwork in print? Absorb the coolness of the cover to 7 Guys of Justice #14 at:

http://e-merl.com/7guys.htm

And as an added bonus, Sixgun fans can now read the whole hypercomic in one single Flash file at:

http://e-merl.com/sixgun.htm

Feedback appreciated, as always.

Weirdness Pending is very cool. I like the way you mix multiple story fragments together, with the one bit about your father woven throughout. My one complaint is about your use of drawing dummies as characters -- not because I didn't like it, but because I actually had plans to do something like that myself, and you beat me too it. Ah well.

So, 7 Guys of Justice #14? You know, I followed the first four issues of that, and then it disappeared from every comic shop I go to. I thought it had been cancelled. I guess I'm going to have to go looking online for back issues. Regardless, that cover is incredibly cool -- too cool for 7 Guys of Justice, I should think, given what a silly book it is. But hell, if they can recognize talent, then kudos to them.

Glad you all enjoyed it.

A special thank you to Jack, since I'm pretty sure I had House of Stairs somewhere in mind when I was planning this one.

Yeah, I've had trouble getting hold of this series on a regular basis too. It's still going strong though and still, in theory, being shipped through diamond. Except diamond seem to keep mucking up their orders.

> with the one bit about your father

Not actually my father - dad's an antique dealer and plenty weird in his own right. None of this story was autobiography (apart from the discussion about magic, which was real, except that it only took place in my head).
