Hey all,

I've been looking into playing the Stock Market for a while now but I've never really been willing to lose enough money to give it a serious try. However someone else recently introduced me to this browser "game" and I thought I'd make one for us all to enjoy.

It's educational in that supposedly it teaches you to play the Stock Market, or at least gives you the opportunity to learn in a safe environment. I.e. it uses real market conditions to simulate real investing.

It includes all of the "Real World" Stocks out there at their current exchange rates. Supposedly it works just like the real Stock Market is working RL, except you are using "fake" money, so if you were actually investing 100,000 dollars the results should be the same as they will be here.

You have $100,000 and one year to make as much cash as you can. We'll be competing with each other only. (Feel free to invite your friends also.)

My username is CheddarTrek on that website. I think I'm the only CheddarTrek on the internet and I've been using that moniker since I was about 12 years old. Ah, memories.
