I specialise in historical fantasy and i've been sitting on a story now for a year or so. Title is The Unbidden and its set in ancient Rome. The elite of city are ruled by Scions of the Roman pantheon, children of the gods and have grown decadent and depraved.
On a battlefield in Gaul a confederation of Celtic and Germanic tribes, Teutones, Cimbri, Ambrones and Boii, defeat the Roman army and their leader, Scion of Woden/Mercury holds up the head of a Scion of Pluto.
Enraged, the gods place a Scion of Janus, the God of transition, on the battlefield to herald great change and to punish the Scions of the Gods.
It's basically a mixture of Sparticus and Clash of the Titans. I have the first issue written and am looking for an artist to draw these 24 pages so we can hand it to a publisher. Again this is unpaid but i will consider all styles. I do also want this coloured so if your a colourist and your interested, drop me a mail too.
