Silence of the Jams?

Jack of Clubs

Post by BorderWalker »

I've been dying to jump in on this jam for ages, and I finally stole the time to whip up a card... I just hope I didn't also steal it out from under someone else! :)

Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words!
I've had a blast watching everyone come up with their spins on these cards.
Any chance someone would have the resources to make this into a true deck of cards? It would be a hoot to play Rummy with these... or 52 card pickup... :)

I'm psyched for the Pitt Con too, Randy! Really looking forward to catching up with you again. If anyone else on the forum's gonna be there, come look for me at the BorderWalker booth!

PS: Next would be 10 of Diamonds, right?

There are ways that we could do it, but it would be a lot of work.

Wow! And the Jam That Would Not Die just keeps on tickin'! Excellent card, there- If you did snake it from anybody, then they deserve it for leaving such a long gap in between cards.

OK, and we're up to.... uh, let me see--

The Ten of Diamonds!
Good morning! That's a nice tnetennba.

oops!

In updating my personal portfolio, I inadvertantly deleted my card!
I'll hope the file's still on the office computer, and will try to reupload tomorrow.
Sorry, folks!

Post by BorderWalker »

Nope, I deleted everything including the original file, in one fell swoop.
Color me airhead.

I'll recreate and reupload the card asap, probably this weekend.

Sorry, folks

Well that's too bad- it was a great card. I looked for the file in my browser's cache, but didn't find it (assuming it's over 5k in size, that is). If you can recreate it or something else, please do, otherwise just post here and we'll go back and resolicit that card, no harm, no foul.
Good morning! That's a nice tnetennba.

thanks

Post by BorderWalker »

Thanks for the compliment, Greg, and the idea -- can't believe I didn't think to check my cache!
It's not in the office cache, but maybe I'll find it at home...

more apologies

Post by BorderWalker »

More apologies, but I wasn't able to complete a new Jack of Clubs over the weekend. It's likely I won't be able to attack it again 'til late next week, as I'm busy preparing for the Pittsburgh Comicon (come see me if you're going to be there!).
So, if anyone else had a hankering to do the Jack of Clubs, please don't consider my card; I'll re-post as soon as I can, but if someone else gets to it first, them's the breaks :)

No, it's just been kind of dying a slow death. Let's see- we still need a Jack of Clubs, though, if anybody wants to backfill and- why not?- Let's also ask for a Ten of Spades.
Good morning! That's a nice tnetennba.

This is great! Actually I'm reading "Guards! Guards!" by Terry Prattchet and this picture really reminds me of those 'Royal-Guards'. Maybe the next card is a dragon... :D

Funny you should say that. I in fact had Cpl. Nobby in mind when I drew that one ;)
