I loooooooooooove the way Terry Pratchett is capable of telling stories with deep moral issues involved , while still making it a fun read.

OK- We'll call this one done for now. I think we made a great effort and even if we didn't make it through the entire deck, we still had over 40 panels which is pretty darn good for a comic jam of this style. If anybody still wants to participate, I'll leave the thread open so you can go ahead.

I don't want it to be dead... I lost my heart to this jam!
Greg which cards are left? Maybe someone likes to draw one of the last ones. Otherwise it would be a shame...
We came so far.
C'mon, the finishing line is yet to see!
Let's play cards!!!

A shame? Perhaps, but I think we did quite well to get as far as we had.

We're in need of a Jack of Clubs to follow the Queen of Hearts. Otherwise, the next card is the 8 of Hearts.

Yes! I was inspired! Like some others, I didn't find out about this jam until you had "retired" it. I thought of a great card for the jack of clubs. Here it is.

Like others, I really hope this jam can be finished. It'd be so awesome to have a full 54 card deck here! Hope you like my panel.

P. S. If you want, I can shrink it if I have to, but I do like it the way it is.

Of course, we did a great job so far. So don't let it die, let's take it to an end! All together!

Which cards are left? How many? Mathmatics is not mine...

Next card needed is the 8 of Hearts, meaning that there are 8 more cards to go.

but, of course, then she was cheered up by ten diamonds. Makes you wonder, insurance killing? From that picture, the queen looked pretty young.

Since the last real card was the nine of spades, here's my entry for the eight of hearts. I know it's bad form to do two in a row, but, technically, they're not in a row, and besides, you already had a jack of clubs, it just vanished. I won't do another card for a while. Again, kinda big, but not to bad to load. I think everyone here will recognize the cards.

That was mine. Greg, I think the cookies are down, if that's what holds your login info from visit to visit. It hasn't remembered me for a while.

Okay then... What's next?

Greg, maybe you can list all the missing cards, so that everybody can choose the one that fits most...

The next card would be the 7 of Spades. Sorry, picking a card is against the rules.

Unless you want to do a joker. There's one left, isn't there?

Nope. No Jokers left. The first was the Brady Bunch and the second a more traditional version.

7 of Spades

Post by KarstenTS »

Here we go...
Image

After finishing work I noticed, that a 7 of Spades has already been done. Hmmm, seems like Greg is a cardsharper! :D

By the way, I am "The Artist formerly known as 'King of Swing'". I want to be more active within this forum, and I want people to see my real name. That's less inkognito I think.

So long, keep swingin',

You're right- it should have been 7 of clubs. Well, we'll just have to carry on as if I hadn't made that error.

Next: 6 of Diamonds
Good morning! That's a nice tnetennba.

That's ok, it's better than the original 7 of spades.

We should also throw in a couple cards that are ads for other card sets and a coupon of Lipton Iced Tea if we want this to simulate the last deck of cards I opened...
