I like this tangent of Selby without Kate. I'm not sure where it's going but I think it's an excellent idea that Randy is pursuing.

Keep up the good work.

You know, if anyone doubted the zwolness of your work Randy, I think Happy Herbert will quickly change their minds. I can sense that next week will definitely be an interesting week. =)

Happy Herbert merchandise is on the way. I'm actually thinking about making Happy Herbert a regular story at the Cafe. What does everyone else think?

And T-shirts are on the way.

Due to circumstances beyond my control I am taking a sabbatical from creating online comics for a few months. I apologize that the present storyline has not been completed, but if someone would like to finish it, then make arrangements with Greg.

Actually, I think I'll fill-in for your fill-in and bring the story back to where I'm working on it, but the door will still be open for you to pick up where you left off at some point in the future.

Don't sweat it, Randy-- I know how life goes sometimes and comics just have to take a back seat. Thank you for doing as much as you did-- It was certainly more than I had any right to expect!

Bravo Randy!

You did a great job while Greg took his break. You brought a different perspective to the story while yet being true to the character and story. Thanks for the story and the work. I look forward to a real finish to the story in the future sometime.

Thank you both for your kind words. It's the little comments that help to motivate me. I'll be doing more comics as soon as I can.

Hopefully I won't have messed up your projected storyline too much- I'm just sort of making a segue to my new beginning point.

But, man- It's a kick to draw Happy Herbert!

Randy: Excellent work during the hiatus. Nobody out-Zwols Greg, but you came as close as any mortal could.

Greg: Great to see the Zwol-god back in action. Is the shape of this first strip the direction of the next "movement"?

Somehow I knew my question would be rendered rhetorical.

I'm watching the header to see when the subtitle turns from "Wonderfulness ensues" to "Strange & Beautiful." At first I thought I would miss "Wonderfulness" but now I'm all excited over "Strange." If that makes any sense whatsoever...

The title changes on Monday from W.E. to S&B. And (get this!) when you cruise the archives, the originial W.E logo will appear for those strips and the S&B logo will appear for the newer strips.
Good morning! That's a nice tnetennba.
