As Easy as Murder
Last Minute Murder
Don't put off until tomorrow what you can murder
Any friend of yours is a friend of murder
There's no place like murder
One card short of a murder
Slippery when Murdered
Murderr is the sincerest form of flattery
Nervous as a cat in a room full of murder
The apple doesn't fall far from the murder
That's how the murder crubbles.
Once you murder, you can't stop
Ask me no questions and I'll tell you murder
A murder saved is a murder earned.
When life gives you lemons, make murder
To the victor go the murder
We'll cross that murder when we come to it
Out of the frying pan and into the murder
Absolute murder corrupts absolutely
Between the devil and the deep blue murder

Yes Virgina, there is a murderer.
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Murder!
Gone with the Murder
The World According to Murder
Murdering Private Ryan
Cry, The Beloved Murder
Circle of Murder
The Secret Life of Murder
The Big Bad Murder
Mystic Murder
Olivia . . . and the Missing Murder
The English Murder
Under the Tuscan Murder
For Love or Murder
Tuesdays with Murder
A Traveller's Guide to Murder
Living Murder
THe Day I Swapped my Dad for Two Murders
What to Expect When You're Expecting Murder
Fortress of Murder
Mountians Beyond Murder
West Side Murder
THe Mask of Murder
A Mid Summer Night's Murder
Murder Fast Murder Furious
Sex & The Murder
Bowling for Murder
Pride and Murder
A farewall to Murder
Of Mice and Murder
I know why the cage bird murders
The Grapes of Murder
The Murder to the Center of the Murder
Little Murder on the Praire
Alice's Adventures in Murder

(Dave logs into a cliche website ... the A's)
All murder breaks loose
All in a day's murder
All in due murder
All talk and no murder
All work and no murder, makes Jack a dull boy
All's fair in love and murder
All's well that ends murder
Always a bridesmaid, never the murderer
Am I my brother's murder?
An apple a day keeps the murder away
An idle mind is the murder's playground
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of murder
Another day another murder
Any friend of yours is a friend of murder
Are you a man or a murder
As beautiful as the day is murder
As dense as a London murder
As far as the murder can see
As good as murder
As murder would have it
As plain as the murdeer on your face
As snug as a murder in a rug
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, murder to murder
Ask not what your murder can do for you, but what you can do for your murder

There! Is that enough? Or do I have to get out the B's?

Can we officially call this dead?
... asleep, belly up, bloodless, blooey, breathless, buried, cadaverous, checked out, cold, cut off, deceased, defunct, departed, done for, erased, expired, extinct, gone, inanimate, inert, late, lifeless, liquidated, mortified, no more, not existing, offed, passed away, perished, pushing up dassies, reposing, rubbed out, snuffed out, spiritless, stiff, unanimated, washed up, wasted, anesthetized, apathetic, boring, callous, dull, flat, frigid, glassy, glazed, insensitive, insipid, lukewarm, numbed, paralyzed, senseless, six feet under, stagnant, stale, still, tasteless, torpid, unfeeling, unresponsive, vapid, wooden, barren, bygone, exhausted, inoperable, lost, obsolete, spent, sterile, still, tired, unemployed, unprofitable, useless, wearied, worn out ... and of course

MURDERED!!!

Please do! You had some of the best "Just Add Murder" titles so far.

(In case anyone is wondering, I am deliberately missing the point. Plus, I did find the list quite entertaining.)

And we haven't even begun discussing the possible variant forms. For example, which is better?

The Heart is a Lonely Murderer

or

The Murder is a Lonely Hunter

or even

The Heart is a Murdering Hunter

It's much too early to call this topic dead! It's just begun to truly LIVE!

On a similar -- though more tasteless -- tack:

It occured to me on the supermarket checkout line that any love song can be significantly altered by the addition of the word "Bitch" to the end.

Not that I'm suggesting it or anything, just a thought.

Wow! First the steamy sequence in "Walrus" and now this. All I can say is, "Who are you and what have you done with the real Scott McCloud?" =:-o (You know, this forum needs a scared smiley icon.)

William Ansley, who firmly believed that the impression one gets of a person by reading a few graphic novels and several online comics written by that person must be the sum total of that individual's personality and has just had his world shattered.

And every fortune cookie, of course, must be followed with "in bed."

The Half-bakery (http://halfbakery.com, can't find the entry anymore) once came up with "Third Person Plural Conditional Past Perfect Continuous Song Lyrics," which you play by conjugating the lyrics in the TPPCPPC. "And they would have been singing, "Bye, bye, Miss American Pie, would have driven the Chevy to the levee but the levees would have been dry."

Hey, if we're murdering, we might as well bitch it up, too. Except, it isn't a verb/noun, and therefore not quite as useful.

Hmm. Hey Greg, think you can change the little things next to people's names that say "Understands Comics" or "Reinvents Comics" to say "Murders Comics" or "Anihillates Comics" when in this topic?
