That's some sweet comics coverage. Nice to see Scary-go-round on there.

It's a fantastic cover! But is the original image larger than what is shown? Odessa's head ain't all there.

Hi Lisa!

Naw, the idea was a sort of pan across a landscape crop, so there had to be some amputations to make it work.

[grr. there goes that post-link bug again.]

Anyway, Odessa was decapitated, but others faced even worse fates. Fred the Clown was reduced to two feet and Pup was a single hand. Brutal business, cartooning...

Cartooning is a brutal business; it beats me up regularly.

Edit: The link worked for me just fine.

Would you believe I guessed Dess was dancing next to Fred the Clown just by the shoes? I am tragic.

Thanks for including her, Scott. I'm all twitterpated.

And I noticed that you drew yourself with some grey hair! Is that a permanent change to your avatar?

Yeah, I figure its time to throw in the graying temples. Might even do it in the next book.

The real change my Avatar needs is to be let out a few inches at the waist, but I'd rather modify the RL version if possible. We'll see...

Next book...?

NO. I won't pry. Argh.

And you and me both. About the weight loss thing, I mean. Aerobics and Atkins works wonders, but there's no way I'll be staying on this diet forever. Meat for every meal sounds like fun in theory, but it wears pretty thin in practice after a week or so.
