Hullo,

John2two pointed this discussion forum out to me last week, in response to <a href="http://www.xml.com/pub/a/2001/04/18/comicsml.html">my column on xml.com about ComicsML</a>, a simple markup language for digital comics. You may find it an interesting read!

Unfortunately, my DSL connection, and hence all of jmac.org, is currently botched until May (thank you, <a href="http://www.speakeasy.net">Speakeasy</a>), so the links to the DTD and other resources are broken -- but I set up <a href="http://www.mikomi.org/~jmac/projects/comics_ml/">a mirror of my ComicsML resource page</a> on a friend's machine, so you can find all the goodies there, for now.

I am hideously busy on many projects, but I'll try to follow and participate in the various discussions here, as I'm able. It's good to meet you, and I've already started tossing this forum's URL at people who have lamented to me about the lack of any concerted effort to Reinvent Comics!
