I feel that one of the ways that comics are to be resurrected is a marked improvement in their storytelling and literacy. Articulate and intelligent stories are often seen as 'uncool' in the face of fantastic art with all the advantages of computer-assisted palettes and the like; but it is only when a fine story and art style are synthesised that the power of the comic format is fully realised. I am assistant editor on the publications of CHIMERA ARTS and we are actively seeking dynamic, visionary and original artists to work on stories for our own comics.
