... however, there can't be 52 of us participating in this forum, let alone in this jam, so eventually I suppose we are going to have to start doing multiple submissions...

True- and there's nothing wrong with doing more than one card- but feel free to spread the word and invite anybody who you think might be interested to participate.
Good morning! That's a nice tnetennba.

The submission above is from the talented Tracy White. You can see her artwork at http://www.traced.com, I highly recommend it.

i noticed that our cards are getting kind of big for the browser window... maybe we should resize them ourselves or allow Randy to do so at his site...

I was thinking about the size thing during my commute and I think that I'm going to have it scroll down instead of to the side. That should fix things without resizing. But when you create cards remember to not make it too large.

I've posted the lastest card on my site but you'll need a flash player.

Later,
Randy

It may be confusing when a card is not posted on this board. We're on the ACE OF HEARTS now, right?

Yes- Ace of Hearts next!

Randy- could I persuade you to post a small .jpg here in the forum? Also, I'm not sure what the problem is, but the Flash on your site is loading very slow- and I'm on a T1 at the moment- so I really haven't seen the card at all yet.

edit: No, still can't see it- it just says it's loading and doesn't seem to move. Maybe my version of Flash? Macromedia's site identifies it at version 5,0,42,0. Maybe I'll try a different browser...

The flash file loaded fine for me. I have a DSL line.

Randy, the card was great. you should put a replay button at the end.

I can't get it either on my broadband service. (10/100 connection to wireless transmission to my ISP)

Also... I really do not want to travel to several sites to be able to see the continuation of a story. It breaks the flow and becomes frustrating when there is no link to click on that takes you directly to the post.

Sorry about the confusion. I'll be looking in to a solution tonight, but until then sorry. I'm also going to post the card here as soon as I figure out the code. I'm new to flash/livemotion so please bear with me. I'm also going to ad a replay button, I just didn't know how to do that last night.

Also, Rcar, I'll start signing with my last name that way we don't confuse people. Your Randy II confused me because I am actually Randy Oest the second (II).

Randy- FYI: I was able to view the new card at your site using Netscape 4.7. Using MSIE 6.0.2 it didn't come up, but I suspect is was more due to differing Flash versions. Dunno.

Sorry about the confusion. I'll start using my last name too. Also if you have questions about livemotion, feel free to email me questions. I use livemotion for my site. That goes for anyone else too.

Hey, I'm new to the Forum -- but not new to Zwol -- and I was wondering if I could contribute to this comic jam, or whether I need to be invited first.

Cat- Awesome card!

Craig- No invite necessary- just make a card and post!

Everyone- We're going to slip in Bob Stevenson's King of Clubs here (it's in Flash, but for those who can't view it, I'll post a non-Flash image here later today)

And here is a Gif version:
Image

and the next card will be Queen of Diamonds!

P.S. - There are still two Jokers in the deck which may be used at any time, so if you have an awesome idea for a card that does not fit into the sequence, then use one (but don't be greedy, because there're only two and once they're gone, they're gone).
