I recently came across a site called "Gimme Back My God" (http://gimmebackmygod.com). I believe it's down at the moment, but, when it's up, it's some seriously good stuff-- sometimes funny, sometimes insightful, always provocative.

Anyhow, many of the episodes here are definitely comic strips. Others.... it's debatable. Would you say, though, that these quasi-comics derive comicness from their association with the other, more "valid" strips?

I would say yes, at least in part. Things seem more sequency when they themselves are part of a sequence.

It's an entertaining collection of comics, that's what I think...
