MINDMISTRESS #2 completed

It would be silly, since I put a new page up every two days or so, to "hype" every time a new page comes up, but the completion of an issue/storyarc/whatever you want to call it is, I think, an appropriate time to call attention to it....
MINDMISTRESS at http://mindmistress.keenspace.com has completed its second story, "Military Intelligence", from a splash "cover" to its ending. (Every story arc will have a different color for its background---the next one will be a sea-blue.)
I'm trying to attempt a super-hero(ine) on the Web, but I'm trying to make her different in many ways from anything done in comics before, web or no. (Especially her alter ego.)
Can superheroics and longer stories be comfortably told on the web? I hope so. I hope Jerry Siegel's innovation (the superhero idea) isn't doomed to be caught in cheap paper on comic racks forever...
Though I applaud the diversity of webcomics, there's a small part of me that still loves the idea of a superhero, which first introduced me to comics. Wish me luck.---Al

Think again.

While I haven't read enough to properly form an opinion of the story, I very much appreciate the arts style you're using. I especially like the drawings you post to your journal pages.
Good morning! That's a nice tnetennba.

Yeah, I've been doing the picture to the journal for years now....it's more in the spirit of an individual illustration (a la Sidney Paget and Sherlock Holmes) to make the journal entry stand out.---Al
