The return of The Ninja With No Arms

Post by Merlin »

He's back: http://e-merl.com/dis.htm

Because he was everyone's favourite from Doodleflak and because it gave me a chance to try out an idea on dismembered story trails that I've been meaning to do something with for ages.

Comments welcomed.

Question: What does a zig-zag look like viewed from one of the ends?

Answer: DISMEMBER by DMG.

That was fun. Not the astoundingly original interface that the ninja with no arms originally appeared in, but still a fascinating new way to tell a strange, hyper-violent comics story. Very cool.
Peace out,

Max Leibman

I really like the interface on this. While it's technically just a "click next to turn the page" it really feels like something else entirely -- due to the visuals accompanying the page turn. Like Max said, not as novel as the Doodleflak interface, but much more intuitive, while still offering a unique experience.
