While I'm on hiatus, Randy Oest of the SubAtomic Cafe has generously offered to pitch in with a storyline that takes Selby on a different kind of Zwol adventure. So hold on tight, kiddies, I've been told it's a wild ride!
I've kind of been aware of the Cartoonists' Choice Awards thingy (the only URL I can find is this one, but there's no real info there), but haven't been interested for many of the same reasons that Reinder mentions in the second post of this thread at the Elflife forum. What makes me point this discussion to you is that in Reinder's post, Zwol is mentioned for my website's feature which allows you to set the comic to a smaller or larger size. Now, today you can't adjust the comic, since it's a No Contest day, but just pop back into the archives and you'll see a link on almost every Zwol comic that allows you to do this. One page even allows you to zoom in and see the comic at near-full size (the "zoom" link is above the comic, between the navigation buttons). I'd incorporated both of these features into the site design very early on but haven't taken advantage of the Zoom feature yet. I'm wondering, other than that one comic, are there any others that people would like to see in their larger size? Drop a line in the forum.
Today's comic is pretty surreal, even for my site. You can see more of Jack's nonsequiterian humor at his own web site and he invites comments to be sent to him. For example- you can ask him if that's really a lamp.
(Reiterating Comics will continue next week but you can re-read the first 4 parts here)
Is it over? For good? Not quite- just the end of the "Wonderfulness Ensues" storyline. The next movememnt, "Zwol: Strange & Beautiful", will commence momentarily. Please hold your applause until all the performers have taken their bows.
Yes, the color panel in Tuesday's comic is the future. Yes, I know where this fits into the storyline to come. No, I won't tell you if that's Selby's natural hair color.
