What about chocolate chip?

Doc Searls asks: "I want a browser that lets me set specific cookie acceptance preferences. I would set mine not to accept any from X10, hitbox, doubleclick, ad.(anything) and ads.(anything), to name a few I've just evicted from my cookie inventory. Are there any browsers that do that?"

Opera has excellent cookie configuration and is a darn fine browser in all other respects. What makes it really great for comic-reading persons is that you can open multiple windows and then, when you close the browser, have Opera remember which pages you're viewing and automatically reload those pages when you next open the browser. This means that every time you open Opera, it can automatically open, say, 5 windows and each window will be opening up one of the, say, 5 comics you read daily. Neat.

It's really fun to draw in a semi-Schultzian style, but sometimes I think that I'm becoming a little too Wattersonian. I supposed it doesn't matter too much, as the end result is something with which I'm rather pleased.

Reiterating Comics Continues:

Posted at 17:38 Permalink

Yeah- should have mentioned this earlier, at the bright start of the day, but Saturday's comic is from Mr. Damonk (FRAMED!!!) and continues the work started by Kevin Pease (with some help from me). The first five parts of RC are here.

May the 4th be with you:

Today brings us a sort of a Peanuts tribute and some Star Wars references and, oh yes, the return (sort of) of Allen, who hasn't been seen in a while.

Strange & Beautiful: Lost Angeles

Hi there! For those who may not be aware (and that shouldn't be too many of you, as I've been mentioning it far, far too often), today begins the second movement of Zwol. The first two weeks have been written by my friend Mary Serbe, who also provided layouts for these strips. (Layouts, if you're not familiar with the term, are rougher sketches that illustrate the panels arrangements and composition for each comic. They act as a blueprint, which I then follow (more or less) when drawing the comic.) A very small potion of Mary's other collaborative work with yours truly may be seen in the form of inks on the very small portion of our short story "18 Years" which I posted. At some point in the near future, I may be posting the rest of this story, but we'll see what form that takes.

At any rate, here we go-- Zwol, part 2.
