OK, by now you've probably seen Segway (AKA Ginger or IT), but now there's something that seems to be able to top that in every way: Megway. If only we'd had this kind of inventive competition back when cold fusion was first announced, maybe it would have actually happened.
Chris Baldwin is currently doing two daily comics, Bruno and Madge's Diary, so it's hardly surprising (to me, anyhow) that he doesn't really have a new Madge's Diary for today. What he does have is this sketch of the title character. Any guesses as to why I like it? Here's a hint.
R. Stevens of Diesel Sweeties is going to be running guest artist comics starting this coming Monday. I'm pleased to have been asked (by way of Indie Rock Pete artist Jason Alderman) to participate and I gave it a go, but I've seen some of the other strips that are due to run and they are fantastic! I mean really awesome. Mine is scheduled to run on Tuesday (I think) next Thursday, it seems, but I'd suggest checking in each day to see what's in store, because there's some really good stuff going on there.
Is this for real? "You can't stalk her... But we can." Coincidence Design.
I've updated the link on my bookmarks page to the Huston Chronicle comics page to include "The Norm" and eliminate "Sherman's Lagoon", which I hadn't been reading for some time anyhow. You may now go about your business.
Check out Diesel Sweeties today. Yours Truly is the guest artist. Happy Winter Festival, all.
