David Bowie turns 60 today. Doesn't seem like 10 years since he turned 50, but there you go.

This thing is awesome. I've loved using my iPod since I got it about a year and a half ago, but I gave up on my cell phone since I didn't use it enough. I also let the Palm pilot battery run down to the point where I lost all the information I had on it and never had the energy to put back in what I had. But Apple's new iPhone looks like the device I've been waiting for.

Because it's got the great iPod capability which I already use, I know I'll keep it charge, so I won't lose the other information I put into it. Because it's just so darn cool, I might keep it around to use as a phone (provided there's a plan which suits my very limited use). The interface is much nicer than any of those Windows CE (or whatever they're calling it these days) variations, and the lack of a billion tiny keys is a plus.
