Just found an MP3 of a song I've been after since 1997. A scene in the movie "Starship Troopers" (one of my favorite political movies), features a cover version of David Bowie's "I Have Not Been to Oxford Town", but that track is not on the soundtrack. Turns out that the singer, Zoë Poledouris, has it available for download from her MySpace page. Now, my life is complete.

Sad news today as we hear the Charleton Heston died at the age of 85. I didn't agree with his politics and find many of his movies silly beyond silly, but there's no denying that the man was magic. Ride into the sunset, Uncle Chuck. Adios!

Or whatever. 2008 shall probably not be the year the website is updated regularly, but I'm sure we'll all muddle through somehow.
