It was fun. I hope someday he feels like starting it again.
And hello. My first post in two years. My second in three.

I had to come out of my ZWOL retirement for this, but if Scott links to a thread three times, you obey.

From an HTML standpoint, do anchors work in horizontal space? If the comic was running down the page, that would help, but I don't know if the common browsers are built with an infinite-to-the-right canvas in mind. From the standpoint of my personal viewing pleasure, this one has been a bit annoying...

so what would you have paid for The Package? to give you some perspective i've put, roughly, about 40-50 hours of work into that comic. and i thought geeks in love was well worth the quarter. thanks for the response, How much of that time was the architecture, and how much the actual creative part?...

I've been underwhelmed with BitPass so far. I'm a huge fan of the entire micropayment concept, and I bought your comic yesterday. It just didn't seem to be worth twenty cents. I'm not the type who buys comic books, so I may not be the intended market, but it looks like I won't be micropaying for any...

Greed? I'm sure we forumites could scrape up a couple dollars. Guilt? I check this site every day, and am dissapointed to find no comic any day. Envy? Kevin Pease is finally finishing his book, what have you done in the last month? Sloth? Your place would be messier if you splattered a bit of ink ar...

Just realized- all the backgrounds are the same. Some sort of signifigance? I think it implies that each panel is occuring in the same place. Here's a geeky question: at what portion of C would you have to be traveling away from Scott for the real time of this strip's creation to elapse in the 5 mi...

Re: *I* am the Walrus
But if you do understand, you deserve a Pan- Galatic Gargle Blaster! ::points to user name as she downs one:: We don't have a shortage of Adamsian nicks. Neat that it's a Sylvan Migdal title. I think he could do this sort of thing well, if it was more of a Weekend Improv, rather than every morning....

Yes, he did go back to add a few more panels, but he never did tell us what it meant. It was more like adding stuff he forgot. We disagreed about this on page two, and it doesn't look like ether of us have changod our minds. We'll just have to agree to disagree, as we seem to do on every topic here...

Browser Integrated Site Navigation
Is anyone using this sort of thing? It seems ideal for webcomic archives. I saw that this forum uses it a bit. I just noticed it today in Mozilla and turned it on. It's also in iCab, Lynx, and Mosaic; as IE loses market share, it might be more worthwhile to include it in site dsign. http://www.free-...

He thinks himself as a true artist who wants the veiwer/reader to find the meaning themselves and does not get in the way of the veiwer/reader finding their own meaning. Pretty funny that you post this in the thread dedicated to the MI where Scott went back and changed the narrative in order to res...

I don't know about you, but when I really get into a story, I'll pay almost anything to see the ending immediately. Give away as much as you can and be creative about what you charge for! Has anyone tried this sort of thing? Do a series of set length, and draw the entire thing in advance. Post the ...
