Big archive Vince, I scan the original, which is usually 11 x 17 in., at 300spi @ 100%, into Photoshop. I convert to grayscale, and, depending on the image, sharpen, replace color, play with the contrast/ lighten, levels, or whatever it might need, and then convert to lineart mode, using diffussion...
