Over 12 years ago, there was a comic and the forum was set up for that, because it was the thing to do back then. We didn't have Twitter or Facebook.

These days, I just clean out the spam.

Please stay on-topic. This thread is for discussion of how a writer might format written material suitable for an artist to work from. dbppres, your desire to collaborate via webcam is well-documented elsewhere, and not relevant to this discussion.

Considering that this thread was started by Ermol and the current discussion no longer serves his interest in attracting a collaborator, I am locking it. I expect there'll be a line of people who all would like to pry his gun from his hand, now. I bet that, like the sword in the stone, none of them will succeed.

Anti-spam measure: Numbers no longer allowed in user names

Existing names are unaffected, but no new registrations are allowed if the user name contains a number. I'm tired of deleting spam accounts.

Yeah, there's a difference in how globals are treated which would need to be addressed, so there's at least one problem.

Ha! Yeah, right.

Re: PHP5-- I don't know. I don't know what's changed in PHP5. I changed one of my domains to use PHP 5.1.2 to see what happens. It'll take some time to propogate through. I'll let you know what happens.

There's an activity to be added to those already in the book. It first popped into my head as one of those silly drinking games, but I don't drink, so let's formulate it as a comic-drawing game. Here's how it works: 1. For every drawing of Scott you come to, draw one line. 2. Every time you spot a d...

Yup, picked up a copy, read it and enjoyed it. I'm really impressed with some of the drawings that Scott's been able to create with his Cintiq tablet . They whet my appitite to see what this graphic novel project he's going to do next will look like. I don't imagine that every page of that book will...

I like the example of "unclear storytelling" on page 11. I'll have to read the entire thing when I have a chance, but it looks pretty interesting at a glance.

I think the Talk About Comics forum would have some room for this kind of discussion.
