They have a character called Mr. Obvious who solves other peoples' pondrously stupid problems. I thought that someone was quoting him since He used "These calls are pondrous man" in his too hot for radio sketch. Gotcha. No, the poster logging on as Kasey Kasim was referring to a negativland "song" ...

So...uh... I guess you don't need any more then.

...I see.
Hell, no! Bring 'em on! The more the merrier. I'm just getting started.

(And like Greg says, they're not all good suggestions, by a long-shot.)

Funny thing is, I've gotten about six monkey-related suggestions. And not all from the same reader.

By the way, in case anyone is curious, there've been 2281 title suggestions so far!

The awesome Mike Patton collaborated with Dan The Automator of the Gorillaz on the "Lovage" project... Right! Give that man a cookie! Alas, no real prize... I hang my intangible head in shame. Hey, I've got a Blur CD (13) next to Gorillaz too. The connections boggle! (They share a member Damon Alba...

Well, seeing as how I'm listening to Gorillaz as I'm drawing it it would be hard to deny that there's some influence there.

[Pop Quiz: Mike Patton came up in Uninformed Bob; I now know a connection between Gorillaz and M.P. (thanks to the our friend Sally) Who can post that connection first?]

Please, call me "Scott!"

If my generation can call Will Eisner "Will," anyone over the age of 6 shouldn't have to call me "Mr." Anything.

Aah, but Aspect-to-Aspect transitions are still divided into discrete reading sequences. Hmmm.... Maybe RLTD is comics on a small screen but not on a big screen! How's that for hair-splitting?

Neil Gaiman was the first to tell me that "Robots" wasn't comics by my definition, not because it has animation (When I Am King has plenty of those sorts of loops) but because the robot with the sign acknowledges the others as being simultaneously "on the stage" with him. Seen that way, it's just on...

No, definitely not the real thing. I just used the term in the shallow sense of something minimalist, experiential and vaguely eastern, figuring it would be a bit funnier that way.

I usually have a general idea of the approach and have fun working out the "stories" as I go.

I always read the comments posted here, btw. They're enjoyable and enlightening -- and you help me catch typos! Thanks for stopping by.

I am just wondering how improv is this strip, "Uninformed Bob" now. I mean it very cute and funny, however there is now 13 strips here. Is McCloud going to quit comic books for comic strips? Not that I mind, but I am being to wonder how long going to stretch out this one gag. If we all like Bob, th...

If you could hold off a bit on the t-shirts, we'll probably be doing something similar in the near future. Sorry for the delays on that.

[though, as far a one-off personal use stuff, go for it.]

After completing the drawings in pencil, I would guess they are inked, pencils erased and scanned. Final coloring is done by computer. Um, actually that's all done in Photoshop with a Wacom Tablet. I just dimmed the layer with the original rough and used it as reference (what you saw in that early ...
