Nothing wrong with asking for collaboration, but you will probably get more interest from artists if you give a brief description of your idea. Also helps if you let everyone know what you plan on doing with the book, kickstarter, self publish etc.

Spot on Eagle. If you are looking to become rich, get a 9-5 job. Collaboration is a great way to get exposure and experience. If the only thing you care about is money, this is the wrong busniess to be in.

Luis i will be honest with you, you are a beginner. You really should work more on your art. portfolio pages dont have to be drawn on bristol board, any a3 sketchpad will do. you really need more practice, i would suggest looking at some how to draw books.

Hello jeff, there is nothing wrong with asking for collaboration. Since there is no payment involved the chanced you get a decent artist are very small. I would suggest writing a small synopsis of the story, it might get you a decent artist.
