Re: Colorist – $25-55

I do not recommend this colorist, full of lies. He broke down the price and we agreed on price. Then he color one piece which I never received the file for. Send a refund later saying he should actually charge $250 per piece (even though he was the one who agree on the negotiated price to begin with...

need artist for a charity indie game collaboration

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining a friend and me in creating a indie/flash game. We're looking to create a charity flash game where a large portion of any profit is donated through charity. We are planning to make it an jrpg/idle game play style and would like to get an artis...

Short Story

It started off with the city demographic of wealthy family. At first, it was only a small time thing, where parents who didn't have the time to run their business and take care of a newborn child sent the child into a certain part of town highly renowned for it's great childcare service. This area (...

Wouldn't it make more sense, especially the first time around, to do a one time short story -15-20 page to see how to like the "feel" of collaboration and if you are in sync with the writer. Anyone can call themselves a writer nowadays, though it's funny, that there are more writer, less artist, but...

Short story for artist to practice wtih (opensource)

* I thought I'll just post this story here and any artist who wants a story to draw can us this short to practice on, anyone can use without permission * A little girl was in her room feeling really tired. She wanted to fall asleep but for some reason she just couldn't. She opens her window, look up...

You'll make it, just don't give up even if you don't yet. There are some people that start making it into the dream jobs around 40 or older. That means they just didn't give up. And don't get drunk again, it only push you deeper. If you get bumbed out, draw more. Draw draw draw, take a break, then d...

Well if this story has been on your mind for so long, I think you should just go ahead and try to do at least 20 page of it and see where it leads. I think it's about time you open up that little box. I really think you should push yourself to do at least 20 page without stopping and redoing it ever...

I'm just wondering, but when artist are looking for a writer to write for them, how does the artist usually know when their story isn't going to well. I mean it's much easier to identify if you're a terrible drawer, but how do someone identify that they are are terrible writer? I read your space com...

I have no idea what you are offended about. Most writers aren't willing to pay, that's true for one. What are you talking about working on your craft? Writers write. Unlike artist, writers don't really have something to look up at to compare themselves to. Artist usually have a favorite artist who t...

Hahahaah! In your first post you write that you were polite. No you're apologizing for being hostile. I think someone is lying about one or the other. I have no idea what "sound like a Paul" even mean. I'm sort of scared to find out too. An S.O.S huh. I don't think it's that bad. By the way, I wante...

Slice of life, and then fantasy.

Do people read newspaper anymore? I just use it to spread on the table so my food won't spill on it.

And what's with the eye rolling lol.

I doubt you'll get a real offer. Writers just aren't willing to pay. And most of them don't put in any effort in their story telling. Most of them sort of chicken scratch everything, and artist doesn't seem to go full in either. It's actually bad on both side. The hardest part is finding a good part...

It sort of sad really because there really isn't a large market for artist unless they're working for the top company. You see so much young kids wanting to grow up, and make drawing for a living but you don't want to tell them the real honest truth of that most of them are going to have to get a si...

The life of an artist.

It really is hard making money when you're an artist isn't it. I mean how much of a living can you really have with just commission, and that is if you're lucky. I've been looking around for a long time and was wondering is there a site where artist buyers can commission artist but the artist get fu...

Writer in search of artist (have sample)

Hello there, I was wondering if an artist would like to team up with me to make a manga. I would like to sent it to a publisher one day when finish. An average manga is around 150 page I think, so this would be a long term project. Of course any profit or recognition would be split if any were to be...
