Good stuff - I noticed a small typo:

"a head" should be "ahead"...

So whose your running mate? 8)

Woah...

I have always admired Republicans for their ability to stand united and firmly behind their man, no matter how much of a colossal failure that man(or woman) is. This is real respect - it gives them unusual clout, I was ready to convert to the Republican party until Bush's administration took office....

How is whiny Mr. Pink beating out Mr. Blonde? I mean, sure Mr. Blonde is a repulsive psychopath, but as far as cool I think we can pretty much gurantee that Mr. Blonde used to take Mr. Pink's lunch money in school... Mr. White is a close second - I would give him the tie but the catchy dancing tortu...

Have you changed any settings on your computer or would someone else have changed them? Configuring your browser for a proxy, disabling cookies, etc. can all contribute to limiting your access to certain sites. Does anyone else tinker with your machine?

I love that Conan speech. THAT is what Ah-nold needs for his Governor speeches as opposed to the Saturday Night live references... See - already looking for a tangeant! I am tangeant man, so of course I say leave it leave it leave it - Moderation is only necessary when people abuse a forum or it nee...

Everyone is different - it would depend on the audience you are trying to reach so research your demographic directly if you are trying to speak to a certain group.
I strongly recommend writing what YOU like and focus on what feels best. You'll never please everyone anyway.

Well, none of us can win em' all. The criticism was a bit harsh - you can't expect EVERYTHING the man produces to be gold - Maybe simply pointing out that it's not his best would be better. After all - you like the rest of his work eh? So Scott is human - Some of us were already aware of this and li...

Maybe it is 'supposed' because they didn't become extinct - they 'evolved' instead, but that's just a guess... dunno Anyway - you DID begin arguing the semantics of the word 'knowledge'! (I KNEW you would - heh) I had enough philosophy to know that if you seek to really 'know' anything after running...

Advil time...

Pass the Advil. I think it's safe to say that the adage that politics, religion, and polite conversation don't mix is a good starting point. It's refreshing that this thread is so civil... I always liked George Carlin's theory about the "giant electron".... Anyway - I think that a good point here is...

I laughed out loud at "Only someone with the brain of a spongemonkey would vote for Kerry" - yeah, he isn't very lovable is he? Then again, I tend to vote against the one proven to run things into the ground, so I may be a spongemonkey this Fall - Bush should run the cartoon as a campaign ad though,...

Very good stuff Doc although I thought your essay on the Hulk was too gentle on the movie. I felt very strongly that the split screen animation for the movie, while an interesting idea with great potential, did not translate well at all to the screen. You end up trying to watch too many things at on...

They got a Pepper Barrr!!

I love the Quizno's ad and think it's brilliant marketing. I am new to this forum by the way - howdy out there! Here's my take: 1) I would never have seen or heard of the spongemonkeys without it being posted on the web and/or if they hadn't been used in the Quizno's ad. 2) I am genuinely interested...
