Forms of narrative
Another option is to begin with the end of the previous adventure - thus showing your main character (or characters) in full 'action' mode, using whatever skills they may have, whatever first defines them. The obvious example is the James Bond films - they start with a bang that often has nothing to...

Hmming and hawwing
Well, fairly obviously, each artists portfolio of existing work (which they should be able/willing to send you image files of) should give you an idea of who you should bother talking to. If you're left with a difficult, close call after this, well lucky you, but possibly then you could ask them to ...

I have no idea what I'm talking about
These seem fine to me - having absolutely no experience of this, I feel free to say that the major issue would actaully be you checking that the work the artist submits is close to the ideal you want. Then you can talk to/email them, include all such issues as tone, target audience (including nudity...

I thank you.
No, I don't think it's bad or I wouldn't have put it out there. I'm just puzzled at no response. And forced once more to consider the gap between myself and the greats. Ah well.
Thank you for the debate, it was fun.

For example
EXT. STREET - NIGHT A stone-tiled street - glistening and moist from a recent shower of mist-like rain. City lights breaking across the random prisms of water, sparkling like kaleidoscope shards. A heavy, rhythmic sound approaching. Wind stirring. closer. Feet pounding over the street. OWNER skids a...

I can't agree
Scripts can be just as much fun to read - it's merely a matter of formatting. Much though I hate to agree to with a script-writing book, many of them make the point that people simply aren't used to reading in that manner. When I briefly posted fanfic, in script format, the comments I got back virtu...

Rephrasing
Sorry, that should be "I've accepted that the script can't be good enough".

Many truths... but...
While much has been said here I mostly agree with, I hope you'll forgive me a quick whine. Having posted a complete first issue script of a comic for people's evaluation, on various different boards over the last six months or so (I'm vauge on exact times as the process always seems longer yet the t...

Ask and ye shall recieve
The best I can do is Rich Text, as plain text will destroy the formatting (that truth be told, often takes as long as the script does to write) but they are up now. http://www.geocities.com/thisbloke2001/SeekerIssue1.rtf and http://www.geocities.com/thisbloke2001/SeekerTwoPage.rtf I like your stuff....

Writer looking for artist - script on-line for evaluation
Hi, I've read that most writers don't put up a script sample which seems crazy seeing as I need you a lot more than you need me; so here is mine. Be aware, the full script is a PDF file of 25 pages, so those with lower connection speeds should be wary. This is an idea I've plotted out (and yes, writ...
