You can't change it, but I can and have just done so. Try logging in with that ID. Your password should be the same as it was. Let me know if you have any problems.

Re: MI RSS feed

Scott's posts usually have enough structure to them (new paragraph, bold date, text, etc.) that the program is able to figure out where they begin and end, and when there's a new one. Heh. Didn't take Scott too long to subvert that assumption! 09/ <strike>10</strike> 12: Comixpedia reports... Nice ...

Yeah, I'm feeling like this may be a stupid question, but what do I have to lose? Nothing! RSS is a geek-cool tool for keeping up with news, blogs, podcasts and all sorts of other content on the internet. To use it, you'll need an RSS client (also called an "aggregator"). It's kind of difficult to ...

MI RSS feed

I'm wondering, how's the MI blog RSS feed created? Is it done by hand (which seems tedious and inefficient) or is it automagically created by some script which parses the HTML page and creates the XML?

I'll wait to see what others think, but it was pretty obvious from the article that an outsider came in, found webcomics lacking, and gave us a thumbs down. I'm doubtful that she's a minority because all of her meaningless-to-us complaints have been heard many times before. And it's not unreasonabl...

Thanks, David! It's good that it is finally done and can be read from beginning to end. I've just made a short post to the blog about it, but probably doesn't contain anything you don't already know. I think there's a story there that you and Eric can be proud of having created and I'm glad to have ...

For those coming in late, the link to the NYT article is this one , as mentioned on Scott's blog today. He also provides some links to other conversations at Comixpedia and Websnark. I don't know, Mr. G., are we doing anything wrong? We are mostly pioneers (and those closely following the pioneers- ...

Well, somebody caught on to my 168-dollar ploy at the Ebay and outbid me for Ryan's art. I know when I'm beat, so I won't seek to raise the price. I am glad, though, that I helped raise the bid to a dollar per page.

I currently have the high bid on Ryan's original 168-hour comic art. I thought it worth my time to bump up the bidding to a proper amount of $168. This means you're going to have to bid more than a dollar per page to beat me. I'm sure I will be outbid in due time, but somebody had to do it.

Update done

Did a major version update of the forum to the latest version of phpBB. Hopefully, everything will be working OK and there should be no noticable change. If there are any problems, just let me know with as much detail as possible and I'll see what I can do.

Without going into as much detail as David, my decision to delay the comics for this week (which had been mostly posted already, from Monday to this morning) was decided by the order in which I received the news. First I woke up and decided to check my email. I received a brief note from some friend...

Interesting use of the infinite canvas tool. Generally you see it used so that all of the panels remain (at least in theory) viewable - so that zooming out would show you the whole comic- but you've done this so that the final panel replaces the first. To get McCloudian for a moment, it retains the ...

When Nerds Attack

Didn't take long for Penny-Arcade's response to Scott McCloud's reply to Penny-Arcade's comment on the webcomics documentary that everybody's talking about. I think we're seeing a clear escalation of rhetoric taking place. Sometimes, some rant that is posted on somebody's website can be quickly forg...

This topic is for discussion of experiences with Comixpress and similar printing services. This topic is NOT for discussion of how people comport themselves on the internet.
