I know what you mean about the difference in creators. To some extent there is a microcosm of the European comics market here in my backyard, because Quebec is quite overtly European in some ways (particularly French and Belgian). I think it's a question of work ethic an asthetics that divides the t...

I'm good with that Ben. I think that we can play around with the format... we're making up our own rules after all. The spirit is what counts. I just think that it's great that we get together like this and make comics for no other reason than to get together and make comics :) To be honest, I would...

Thanks Ben, and now I am back with my latest, inspired by your monster rampage last week (though it's a little more fluffy).

As I said, it's time to get the lead out. I'm getting down to business in just a few minutes. I'll be back in a little over an hour with more one hour wackiness. In the meantime, if you happen to check in, you can check out what I did in 2 and a half hours yesterday here ;)

I'll be back.

Brad! You're in Montreal! I was there all last weekend, I'm in Sherbrooke. Maybe you would be another candidate for the big 24 hour comic event we want to hold next Summer to benefit the Comic Book Legal Defence Fund. What do you say? While I'm at it, do you ever go to the monthly jams at the Casa d...

Wow! I take a weekend off, and look what happens!? David, your comic great! You have to tell me how you got the side scrolling canvas at such a decent file size. Chris, welcome aboard! It's good to have another with us! Ben!? What can I say? You are thorough as anything. Thank you for putting things...

Argh! I stayed on time for the comic, but then Netscape ate my page before I could save it, and I spent the next 20 minutes reassembling it. Foo. Well, here it is... it's also my next mini-comic, thoughI will probably do a little editing before I print them this afternoon :D http://www.dunktank.ca/j...

That's precisely the point, I guess. I was really torn, even after I started, over whether I would do it by hand or on the computer, but in the end I decided that I would be much better off with something portable (not to mention the fact that my fiancee is writing her November novel in the computer...

I would tend to agree with you Greg. Give him points for integrity, but knowing that only about 10% of the readers at Modern Tales are subscribers leads me to believe that people won't buy the cow when they can get the milk for free.

Thanks. I will need it. I am a page and a half in, and I am rediscovering my strange fascination with drawing several similar panels to show the passage of time. I've been doing most of my drawing on the computer latey, so I'm a little rusty... but that's not the point. It's a challenge. That's the ...

I'm starting my grqaphic novel this morning. I have the first page in rough pencil, and I have begun inking. I have no idea what the heck it's about.

I will be back here on Sunday for the jam this week, but I may miss a few between now and the end of November. Wish me luck.

I really do have to get my TMBG webcomic done. I'll try to take a crack at this weekend. I would have had it done already but I have been working on something for a webjam for Cat Garza, and I just managed to complete my latest Zombilly Picture Story: Green Eggs and Brains . Oh yeah, and I had this ...

I posted about this on the same thread that Joey started, but I didn't get much reaction. My fiancee is a graduate of the journalism programme at King's College University, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and she put together this project as part of her online journalism course (here) . She and I have talk...

Hah! I finally caught Wikkit's TMBG link. Hilarious. ezpecially if you're singing in your head while you read it.

Jason, your office doodles put mine to shame.

Surly Ben, your eyes in the pancake panel are priceless. I hope you'll take advantage of Falling Backwards, and sleep in this morning ;)

I'd read some of the other hyper-fiction on the site before and been pretty blown away, but I'm not sure if I'm reading this one properly. Are some of the images purposefully outsidet of the frame, or is because I am an infernal Mac-user?

No I didn't mention. I was trying to allow for the passage of time somewhere between the midnight trip to the bathroom and the panel with the Japanimation Fist shirt. He would have gotten them repaired in between. I should have probably tried to work that in somewhere, but I was having fun with the ...

I've started working on my contribution, but I was wondering where this jam is going up (who's hosting it?).

Oh wait, MT presents? Sorry, I didn't catch that right away. Sounds good. Count me in.
